Adding Google Analytics to Blogger (for new-bies)

Login to your www.blogger.com account.

From the blogger dashboard, select settings for the blog you want to add Google Analytics.
Visit “Layout” tab.

Navigate to “Edit HTML”. (Advance users goto step 7 directly)

Here don’t be afraid if you are not a computer geek. The blogger is designed in such a that even newbies can use it.

If you are not sure you will be able to do this successfully then believe me this is really simple.

Still if you want to play safe then click on “Download Full Template” and save the copy of your template.
7.
In the “Edit Template” text area, scroll down the code till end.
8.
Locate the “<\body>” tag.
9.
Just before the <\body> press enter and paste your analytics tracking code.
10.
Once again make sure your analytics code is before the <\body> tag.
11.
Click “Save Template” and you are done. Wait for 24 hours till you start seeing reports.
